The physical manifestations of God in the Bible are Theophanies, more accurately "Christophanies" because these manifestations were the person of the pre-incarnate Christ, always. You can learn more about them here:

The Tertullian Christology is what the Bible communicates. Namely, that Christ existed as God eternally and chose to enter time & space and clothe himself in humanity. Read Phillipians Ch. 2 in the NT. It describes this union. Fascinating. Even more interesting is since his advent, Christ remains both God and Man.

Hey Discipler... do you believe Muslims, Christians and Jews all worship the same god?
- flagellum0

Linguistically, yes. Theologically, no.

Who have I belittled and how am I ignorant?

flagellum, have you ever heard of a philosphy and theology professor named Peter Kreeft?
He wrote a book called Ecuminical Jihad that is amazing... calling all God-fearing Christians, Jews, and Muslims to unite together against the common enemy of godless secular humanism, materialism and immorality. He's one of my favs.
- flagellum0
Sounds interesting, yars. I've never heard of him. There's no question that Secular Humanism has a corruptive effect. It's hard to escape it's implications regarding the lack of value in human life and moral absolutes.

He's written many incredible books. Starting with the Snakebite Letters. The guy is genius to me. I believe he teaches in Boston.

" Hardly misleading at all, Kuzz. Nazi and communist regimes have a world view rooted in the Atheistic Materialism of Marx, ultimately Neitzche. To deny that the millions of people exterminated because of an underpinning world view which denied their worth and purpose, is absurd and is your attempt to revise history. But you are clearly dishonest, so it's to be expected "
-discipler, apologist, christian, supremacist.
...things you happen to leave out.
a) populaiotn growth... more people alive in the 12th century, more people dying in revolutions and wars? imagine that!
b) modern weapons.
you forget the slaughter of the crusades? every muslim in jerusalem. ...what do you suppose they would have done with rail lines and crematoriums? ...every mulism they could have gotten their hands on?
...diffirence is pol pot and stalin are universaly condemed, you continue to make excuses for your christian mythology.
if god wills it?

Cool. Here are a few brilliant minds who have challenged the foundations of Humanistic/Materialistic philosophies:
- William Lane Craig
- Norman Geisler
- Phillip E. JohnsonCheck into some of their works.
