No you didn't start this particular thread. But you are using this thread, that was started months and months ago, as your pulpit.
And no i'm not conflating ID swith "spreading the word of Jesus". All i'm saying is that, spreading the word of Jesus is your bag. That's why you constantly talk about the fringe science of ID. The thin end of the wedge if you will.
That's fine if you feel you really need to let everyone know about your beliefs. I just think its sly how you take a vaguely Christianity related article, that hardly supports your beliefs, and then try and get people to talk about all the other things about ID. That's your real aim.

Oh, Brookoi how do you sleep at night? Your conscience must be gnawing away at you with such intellectual dishonesty. :) Unless it is just thoroughly seared by now. Since you hurl insults and set up straw men, this will be my last response to you.
The fossil record should yield gradual transitions and it does not. You have fully formed and distinct body plans which show no evidence of precursors. This is what Design predicts, not Darwinism. As one would expect quantum level programming to "unfold" certain species at certain times. On the other hand, Natural Selection is good at things like maintaining the status quo and ensuring extinction. It can do nothing creative. It cannot generate CSI (Complext Specified Information) which is required for novel species/body plans.

Wildflower, I resurrected this thread with an article that directly pertained to the original topic. Regarding Dawkins' mission to stomp out all other theories except Darwinism. You'll find that post VERY infrequently here and even more infrequently do I talk about Jesus.
Call ID "fringe science" if you will, but it is merely the logical inference to a designer based on the evidence which science observes. Pure and simple. No dasterdly agendas. Just observations and inferences. And more and more sceintists are becoming privy to this and deciding to follow the evidence wherever it may lead.
My aim is share articles and views on a topic that is interesting to me. Compelling even. People do that here all the time. Generally, it's in the form of political views.

But kOna, at the end of the day... your cat is still a cat, not a dog.
Sorry! ;p

do you even know what a straw man is? Or the irony of you accusing others of using it?
- mrdobolina0
discipler, you bumped a thread from nearly 40 days earlier. Then you say you have never started a topic about ID.
That is pretty weasel-like.

Ah that's cool flagellum, i know this topic touches your core beliefs. Not trying to make you look stupid by suggesting you go on about the same old same old constantly.
And I honsetly don't see how the article you linked had anything to do with Dawkins. Just commenting on how you contrive an argument by leading people away from what they were orignially talking about just so you can make sweeping oratorical statements such as about how "ID has enflamed science" and, well every other presumptive statement you make. As I said, this is your pulpit.
:)

Understood, Wildflower. I guess my thinking was that the article was relevant because Dawkins is the Oxford "Minister of the Public Understanding of Science" in the UK or, some title like that. And so I thought that since this article was about Creationism in UK schools, etc...

So would this be everyone else's anti-pulpit?!?
Just asking.
- Brookoioioi0
Tenuous at best, more likely a thinly guised attack on the fictional group of Darwinian Elite™ that chase you through the corridors of your mind.
So every time you refer to Professor Dawkins i will now assume you mean
the:
"Minister {house of parliment representative} of the {non existent} Public Understanding of Science"
And concur that you truely no nothing.
