a sensitive spot for you, Kuz? Knowing that your fellow brits are rightly skeptical of the silly notion NS + RM is capable of anything beyond trivial adaptive change within a species. It's taken 150 years, but people are catching to the foolishness of such an unsupported just-so story.

actually, i dont think they are catching onto it. I was taught the Judao-Christian myth in school too. My teachers seemed to totally believe it.
I'd actually say that more people believe in evolution now than they did 150, 100, or even 50 years ago.
The problem is the stupid masses who are continously bombarded with creationist ideas. In this country, there is no seperation of church and stae. Every day you have to go into assembly and the head teacher says a prayer to jesus.
I'm just surprised there's so many people blatantly ignoring the scientific community. And i doubt any of em have herad of Behe or the Discovery Institute conspiracy

I'm curious how facts like Specified Complexity in molecular machines, The Antrhopic principle, fine-tuned cosmological constants, digital code on the spine of DNA, amount to "superstition" and "fairy tales". Or, how they are 4000 year old tales.

oh don't kid yourself, Kuzz, scientists have been skeptical of Darwin's mechanisms since their inception. The Darwinian elite would keep you from knowing this though.
Everybody believes in evolution - within a species. It's the fantasy of it's creative power regarding novel tissue, cells & body plans which people have always doubted.
It's just that now we have new scientific data which confirms this fantasy. :)

nobody has ever tried to answer this in the pvn or in books or tv or whatever.
Q : Why did a god if he/she/it exists create the world / universe/ man / woman why bother for what reason did he/she/it decide to create this complex existance?.

An overwhelming majority of scientists around the world - believe one species EVOLVES into another. Don't kid YOURSELF.

I believe He created them out of a desire to love and be loved. The core nature of God is love and he wanted creatures that would choose, of their own volition, to love Him.
