a) populaiotn growth... more people alive in the 12th century, more people dying in revolutions and wars? imagine that!
b) modern weapons.
you forget the slaughter of the crusades? every muslim in jerusalem. ...what do you suppose they would have done with rail lines and crematoriums? ...every mulism they could have gotten their hands on?
...diffirence is pol pot and stalin are universaly condemed, you continue to make excuses for your christian mythology.
