My design school didnt teach me a damn thing when it came to dealing with real jobs such as proofing, contracts, clients, prepress. They gave me a diploma and sent me on my way...it was a major issue at our school...The lack of business and tech side!

The first ad was 0,0,0,100 and the second was 11,9,9,97! The second ad looked better than the one that was %100 black...interesting!

(Dec 13 05, 12:34)yeah, the 11,9,9 in the 2nd black would fill in for the 97... next time use one of the process blacks suggested here and you'll be looking pretty.
*** and use it for larger fills only... don't try setting 10pt type with a process black because it'll never be crisp. black strokes and small text always get 0,0,0,100 with "overprint" selected in attributes.
