I lived around SF for 28 years and in LA for 2 years.
For some reason, I look back on my time in LA more fondly.

women in SF wear sensible shoes.

"ehhh, I didn't move to San Diego to me in the middle of a whirlwind of ongoings. Been there, done that."

ohh, i gotcha. I ddin't mean theres nothing to do here. There is tons. If you are into surfing, biking, skating. Just being outdoors in general. I generally dislike living in cities.
I was referring to having to be in the city all the time. Finding the cool hip new places to hang and go. Gets old fast and takes away from more important things you could be accomplishing.

oh, i didn't write anything after the paste, lol...
what i thought i said was, at some point i could see my self in that place, and in fact i kinda was there a couple of years ago, but i'm pretty much bored here and totally hate my job and it seems like most offers i get cannot touch my salary history, or my current salary.

i also miss art shows having more than one good music venue in town...

should be "art shows" AND "having more than one music venue in town..."

i would say sf ...
the rich kids in la start to piss you off real quick.
oh and btw -- dont call it "cali"
- unclesize0
right, don't call it cali, or frisco.

how 'bout la la land

the casbah is the good venue.
canes and belly up sorta suffice.
soma gets decent shows, but there's no beer and an abundance of high school kids

I grew up in LA, but lived in SF for 12 years. Since i've been back to LA for the last year or so, the only things i miss from SF are my favorite bars, and my friends there. I also miss the public transit.
LA seems has more of the kinds of jobs i want, nicer weather and a equal or better music scene. so its a fair trade for me i think.
it all boils down to what you;re in the mood for. and they're close enough that you can always visit.

i think i've decided that i'm indecisive in this matter...
but great comments nonetheless!
