Rent: Little higher in SF
Traffic: Bad in LA (smog too)
People: Everywhere you go youre bound to meet two faced pricks.
Boobies: Big and artificial in LA. Small and natural in SF.

the ladies are a little more down to earth in sf, or so I've heard. Of course youre bringing your own sand to the beach.

by down to earth, he means ugly...
- jpolk0
and i'm not kidding about that...

You've seen one, you've seen em both.
On the subject of boobs, I really don't notice that much higher rate of implants here than up north. It seems like the girls with the fakeys are all over 40 anyhow, so who cares.
Saw many many more fake titays in Texas and Florida than CA.
The girls in SoCal are generally much more attractive tho. A 5 here is like an 8+ in SF.

some are, some aren't.
seriously though, friends who have spent time in la have said it really hard to find a relationship there.

I don't know my wifes friends here in sf are all super hot so maybe its just me. the women in sf are more like artsy cute than actress fine at least the ones I'm attracted to.

how about going a little further south. San Diego, can't beat it.

well as far as titties go, you can find big and natural every once in a while in sf, which you guys will probably appreciate while big and natural in LA is like fossil samples.

SF is great for walking photography and architecture but the weather sucks
LA has way better weather and more opportunities

SF has a NASA/CIA generated population of super bums. Those fockers are more amazing than any bums you will ever meet.
Questions I have actually been asked:
"Hey man can I use some of your cell phone minutes"
"Hey man, can I have a bite of your falafell"
"Hey man can I have $10"
"Hey brother you want to buy a fan, it has 3 speeds!"

unclesize - no it's more like "can i have some spare change" then i go "no but you can have this sandwich" and they go "i'm sorry but i'm vegetarian".
bums here are so fucking special.

"A 5 here is like an 8+ in SF."
really depends on your type of woman. if you like the all american type girl, then that probably rings true. but not all of us are into that type of girl... i personally cant stand them.
for my tastes, SF > LA in terms of women.

hey unclesize - one in ten people in america live in california, not one in five. thats a bit much. also, socal has a population of just under 17 million. theres only about 35 million people in the whole state.

"how about going a little further south. San Diego, can't beat it."
dont get me started on that.
san diego is pretty much devoid of all culture (except the barrios)
it's crazy conservative, downtown is completely fabricated and lame, most neighborhoods are really just suburbs (think driving from one strip mall to the next to get pants and then shoes)
there are not many jobs worth a damn. Creatively rewarding jobs don't pay enough to survive. You can work corporate, or for warmongering government contractors.Rents are now more expensive than pretty much anywhere in LA.
the average shithole bungalo costs a half a million dollars (2-3 bd. 1-1.5 bath) to buy.decent music scene, but the hipsters are ridiculous.
worse art scene than pittsburgh, PA.
you still have to drive everywhere.
the beaches are nice, but they're full of honkeytonk marines, drunk hotties with no brains, joe whiteboys, and a bunch of tattooed loser surfer brahs...
i pretty much hate this place. it's beautiful here, and i've met some cool cool people (it took about 2 years though), but i don't think i'll stay much longer.
great place to raise kids though (granted you can afford a 750,000-1.5 mil dollar home. not kidding)...
unless you surf or have a trust fund, this 'city' is a joke...

ehhh, I didn't move to San Diego to me in the middle of a whirlwind of ongoings. Been there, done that.
I like it here, it's chill. I live 5 blocks from the beach in a nice quite beach community. And I make plenty of $$ to live. When I need shows and art, I travel. I am in L.A alot anyways for my clients.
