spk
(Nov 9 05, 10:11)it's pretty cool. kinda tough to meet new peeps though ( i must not be hanging out at the right places : ) some really nice photo spots for sure! the one thing that i didn't realize is how much driving i would be doing! most of the friends that i do have here live in hollywood so it takes FOREVER to get there.
the job is solid though. the guys/girls i work with are all really cool.

oh yeah don't forget about the mall of america! :)
you should have plenty to keep you busy eh? what are you coming here for?

Maybe just to check it out. I'm not sure when. It will probably be freezing by the time I save some extra $.
That ox-op place looks awesome. I wish there were galleries with work like that around here.

Hey lvl_13,
I too live in costa mesa, got a few cool peeps I hang with there. Like to go to rock shows, art shit and booze.
Got a pretty sweet place where I may have a house party this weekend, hit me up sometime.

not sure what you're into, but the triple rock has great shows and one of the best jukeboxes in the city (for punk rock anyway)

yeah - good one. the entire strip down to venice is sweet. would be a helluva sweet place to live.
do some research on the artists that lived in venice in early 70s some serious pimps.

yeah i was just in santa monica this summer. awesome place. we walked all around that part of town, venice, the piers, some crazy houses and shops. watch out for a guy trying to sell you a video camera. the 3rd street promenade in santa monica is great too. they had a little farmer's market going on when i was there too.

today was the first day it was actually cold, but it's supposed to be 60ish tomorrow.
there's really not too much happening until the end of the month when the holidazzle parade starts up.

We have plenty of parks (great in summer unless you are dressed for it, like me). I recommend a plastic outter shell to block the wind and dress warm underneath. Dressing in layers is common lingo 'round here.
Most bars are non-smoking so that is cool. I recommend First Avenue for shows....
If you have time, I recommend taking 2 days and making it up to Duluth. A highlight of this great state for-sure.

Fek I should take a trip out to minneapolis some time. It's only 6 hours south. Sadly 6 hours is about the closest I come to a major city. I guess Duluth might count. :(

(Nov 9 05, 15:05)do it! duluth is a cool city. that'd be only like four hours you right? there's only about 90,000 in duluth so i don't know if you'd call it a major city...
