So, new bus card time... playing around with 'handmaking' some cards using different coloured bus card size peices of 'Felt' with a laser printed sticker wrapped around....
So, what you think, worth more work or just a shit idea?

looks nice and the tactility will be a plus, but I bet it's an absolute cunt to get into your wallet quickly ;)

i like the idea of stitching the logo in. perhaps that'd be a better route so that then you could do it on cardstock (they make small little pattern embroidery machines these days, don't they?) and avoid the wallet/portability problems but still get that handmade feeling you're after.

storage maybe a problem with the felt. you could try using two pieces together with the stuff they put into suit jacket lapels to make it more rigid. like quick hem or something....
I once had a bus card for a club that was made from leather. twas very nice

I think it would be better with a sturdy base and then have the logo stiched into the card. Can you stich in felt? Fuck knows but it would look pretty tasty.

You know how there are those funky felt posters you can buy or color in? I think you should go for something along those lines.
Either have felt strips/designs on the card or do the logo or type in felt. I say go for the logo.
If you work with this idea, seriously, be kind and pay me some royalties. I just hope you can find some place that can get this done on a business card template.
