who made god?

--------------------------The question is wrong (it's important to identify when a question is logically flawed). You don't ask who created a being who, by nature, is uncreated. You only ask this of things which have a beginning. God is outside of that latter category. He's the uncaused first cause.

this thread stopped evolving yesterday.

discipler, talk about something that has nothing to do with god, jesus, the bible, gay people being sinners and creative design for a while.

discipler, you view god as the ultimate creator, do you not? well if so, who made god?
no question is wrong

He's the uncaused first cause.

(Aug 10 05, 10:02)this statement is ridiculous
and this one is still true:
god though, still not real
god is still mans answer to the realization of self
no more, no less than the easy answer to "why/how am I here"

Exactly. It's a non-answer.

And it underlines what's wrong with the whole ID fraud. It doesn't replace science wiith better science that's going to help humanity. It replaces it with superstition so that people who were brought up a certain way can have their view of the world confirmed, so matter how twisted the logic they have to resort to.

hey Point5, I'll be the monkey grinder dude, you be the monkey. k?
- discipler0
no, you aren't following the simple logic. Here, I'll break it down:
God by definition is the uncreated creator of the universe, so the question "Who created God?" is illogical, just like "To whom is the bachelor married?".
follow the reasoning:
1. Everything which has a beginning has a cause.
2. The universe has a beginning.
3. Therefore the universe has a cause.
4. And therefore an uncaused being would need to be it's source.

never got an answer why god put the fossils in the rocks. was it random intelligent design or a easter egg type of ish?
- discipler0
ukit, that's called an argument from silence. There's no such thing as an "ID fraud". There are just scientists who observe the latest discoveries in science and who are not afraid of sharing these discoveries. Here, learn:

kld, the fossils are in the rocks because animals died and became fossilized.

(Aug 10 05, 10:21)caused by the randomization of whatever entiity/force/etc. put the Earth in motion. It's Dynamic Equilibrium. THose organisms either died a natural death or some catostrophic event occured to put them there.

If the world is only 6000 years old and chinese culture was around back then, then god created a bunch of budhists. Why? So they could be converted to chritianity? None of this makes any sense.
