First of all, you said you were after NT consensus. I think you have it and are ignoring it.
Secondly, lnu refined the original idea, which is far easier and considerably less time-consuming, so holding it up as "miles better" doesn't wash at all with me.
Can you understand my 2 points?Number 3 is worth what you paid for it. Gets my vote.

skt - in relation to your creation (hey, that rhymes!), can i ask how you did it?
is it just a outlined typeface-mask from a bunch of dots? can't be, all of the dots are solid.
i am confused. scared. and there are wolves after me. thanks. if not, no worries.

(Jul 19 05, 17:10)Just a load of dots pasted by hand. With a typeface behind as a rough guide. Won't help with the wolves though.
Back to the matter in hand. #3 is the best but its 10 minutes work.
The deal was to post it on NT so why slag of Codfather?
And in reading all of your posts Soler, fair enough your not getting paid for many hours work but your coming off as a right wee prick in my mind.

After second looks i'd go for #3 by Soler. It really is quite nice and simple. Better than template logos, you showed as reference earlier. And IMO better than Inu's. Too blocky and weird to my liking.
And if you let Soler to work on #3 for one hour (if his willing) then i bet you get really nice finishes from him.
#3 then from me

Remember, it's not all just about the logo itself, it's about how it's used.
