"And science supports the Bible, not the opposite."
*cough* they first scientists where muslims *cough*

Atlas, your academic gurus are kidding you. You are still buying into a tired old, pseudo-enlightenment objection to the Bible. And making the fallacy of lumping Christian faith into the same category as "Religion". I'm afraid you can't just shrug off uncanny manuscipt evidence, countless changed lives, and brilliant scholars and scientists who have dedicated their lives to the study and promotion of the Bible.
So, as you say, anyone with a "brain" should do an objective study and find out what the brilliant experts on the opposing side have to say. If they care enough to.

speaking of big balls, the broadcast assistant sitting opposite me is chomping into these dried fig thingamys that look EXACTLY like a bag of hairless deflated sacs. ew.

oh and discipler, forgot to say, with that science remark you really out did yourself. bravo. applause. stick your thumb up your ass as a reward for your pure ignorance.

discipler so you want to see a tunnel of light or hover out of your body and check out stuff ?
choke yourself to death and have fun, be sure to ask a friend to reanimate you though.
But you don't even need to go that far, if you have been blessed with epilepsy simple electrical stimulation can do the trick. Why did people in Europe see the Holy virgin in miracles past centuries and not in China ? Simple there was no Holy virgin in their databse so they can't come up with that image.
If your computer crashes there is a big chance you will see unusual shit too.

Christianity is a religion. Some modern Christians are trying to make it slipperier or more transcendant by saying it's a "relationship" with the supernatural, but it's all the same.

Sorry discipler. But just as the mind can play tricks on you in the dark, or when you're scared, or when you're pissed, the mind can likewise play tricks on you when you're foregoing all logic and subscribing to an idea that would otherwise be grounded in insanity if not for it's positive vibe. I'm pulling all of this out of my ass, of course, but this is how I see it, personally. I think there definently is SOMETHING out there that is the reason for this reality, but it's definently not related to whether or not I pray, go to church, or talk about it with NT peeps. God, whatever God is, is definently not what we think it is, and once we found out, we'd be completely surprised.

I love his term "philosophical bias" he's guilty of the exact same thing, anything that's incongruent with his theology is science that's created by "fallible mankind" and anything that supports his religious text is "evidence supporting the bible". You got to hand it to him he's a relentless spin doctor.
