I learnt that one the hard way recently too. In future any attempt to change things like my haircut or my clothes will be met with the sound of the door slamming shut behind me as I leave.
Don't know if you know it, but there is a fantastic song by Ani Di Franco called "as is" - about taking people as you find them...I'll send you it if you like, sounds like it could cheer you up my friend.

I don't need any cheering up really, it was a long time ago and it was not my intention to start a sappy cry-with-me thread even though it may look like it. But if you can spare a moment, I would very much like that choon. Would actually be quite refreshing hearing something other than Bryan Adams for a change.
