But funny how they didnt hear the actual plane crash? that would have made one hell of a noise! more then the little one that we did hear.

thought it was great. I really liked how the aliens had built the mechs in their likeness, just like how humans tend to build robots in their own likeness... and the scene with the aliens in the basement was great. I will agree that there wasn't much of a storyline, other than you see how Tom Cruise is trying to be a father but is struggling since he never really was one to those kids, but then when he's forced to realize how precious his children are to him, he and the children see what they mean to him. I just relate to these issues strongly because I have kids now. Had this movie came out 5 years ago, I would have left both those leeches behind!
