ahh, i see... arrest him on the basis that he's a war criminal right?
there was an article in canadian papers a few months back about how under canadian law he could be arrested as a war criminal while in our country.
unfortunately it will never happen.
- vburo0
yep..
war crimes indeed..
but i could imagine some (if not a lot of) other things as well..

The most civilized country in the world -- the Netherlands, but I would never wont to move there

Seriously though, you people really think it's a horrible thing to topple Saddam Hussein? The man was a mass murderer who oppressed millions.
Claiming Bush is some sort of murderering fiend just doesn't fly. Most Euros think Bush is evil incarnate, mainly because he acts without European consent. The truth is, since WWII, Europe has had no desire to spread deomcracy. Remember Kosovo? All of Europe sat around while a genocide happened in their backyard. The only nation that did anything was the US. You hate the US because your governments are weak and irrellevant. If you want real evil, ask your grandparents about the Nazis.
Personally, I didn't vote for Bush because I think he's mentally deficient. I wasn't a fan of invading Iraq, but I can see it as a step towards democratic change in the middle east. I was happy to read that the US troops will be pulling out within two years.
Flame on

Same thing in Belgium happened some time ago. Because of our 'easy' law on war criminals alot of human rights oranisations started sueing mr. bush for war criminality.
After that incident they forced us to change our law, so we did.
Wuzzys we are.

Not a flame...
uberdesigner: The only nation that did anything was the US.
...just wrong.

Yup, I have a friend who fought in Kosovo - certainly not American.
He's off to Iraq this very day too, so hopefully he'll survive your Presidents war.

“all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”
Burke, I think...
In fact, both the Major and Clinton regimes were highly reluctant to get involved in the Balkans. It was only after the so-called UN safe haven of Srebrenica was overun by Bosbian Serbs who then proceeded to massacre the entire male population while Dutch soldiers stood by, helpless.
Does that also disturb your conscience vburo?
