wow, I was sure I had made your ignore list by name mrdobolina. All the verses and what not must drive your atheist butt somewhat mad. :)

hahahaha Pete
as for the thread, there are bigger problems with almost every other inter-faith marriage than with these two. Just so ya know.

i was raised methodist, my wife was raised catholic.
sometime after getting married we became lutheran. at first it was more of a combination of the two faiths. it turns out that lutheran theology is more in tune with our thinking than either of our previous faiths.

I have no contribution to make to the primary post of this thread. My mother and grandmother are southern Baptist and I am, well... I guess I just am. I couldn't imagine having to worry about organized & corporate religion with all the other shit I have going on in my life.

my brother's married to a christian and he's catholic. They got married by a Priest and everything was cool with her parents. They decided to have their kid baptized , but her christian friends didnt approve.
totally see where your coming from with the catholic/christian thing. i tend to know christians are a lot more religious and do look down on catholics. i mean shit, doesnt god love everyone anyway??

Damn it, my sons, a Catholic is a follower of Christ, but not in a Protestant manner. They are Christians too.
God Loves You!

jimmeeboy, in my opinion, the only thing that should matter is whether or not both have entered into a saving relationship with the Jesus of scripture... after all that's what makes a person a Christian, not what church or denomination one is a member of. Marriage is an earthly picture of our relationship with Jesus, hence scripture calling us the "bride of Christ".
1 John 5:11-13:
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
