i never liked the 90's raygun style but i liked the 'the end of print' book but i'm not sure it's because of david carson or lewis blackwell tho, who i think is still creating great stuff with getty images.

I liked alot of End Of Print as well, but dont like the stuff he's got on view at his website at the moment. Looks like a load of photoshop effects.

Neville Brody and David Carson were great influences for many design students in the 90s. We reacted to their work and now we've all grown up and become design heroes of our own. I guess it's a matter of opinion, but who's the new Jimmy Hendrix of graphic design now or are there just too many list?

i'm fairly certain that no person who knew anything about design in the 90's would ever say anything like that.
I would go further to say that he broke G.D. out of it's sorriest state ever, brought typography back into the game (in a completely new fashion) and inspired tons of young people to start designing.
NT would be quite dead without DC.
