i have no opinion on it, man. i personally don't care whether anyone eats meat or tortures animals. all i'm doing is pointing out what a lot of you seem to be in denial about.
this is fact:
• meat is not necessary for your modern diet
• by eating meat raised in meat farms you are participating in animal cruelty.
i don't see how opinion has any place in the above unless it's your definition of cruelty. in that case i would suggest spending a few minutes on youtube and updating that definition

We should imprison all the foxes that eat rabbits, because that's fucking animal cruelty. Lions too, those guys could easily just get protein from vegetables. So cruel how they eat gazelles, and they don't even cook it, how uncivilized! As humans, we are not part of the animal kingdom in any way shape or form, and therefore we are not held to the same standard as those filthy barbarous omnivorous mammals. Right, we might have incisors and forward facing eyes that are shared with all predators, but that is just misleading. We weren't meant to eat meat, because we are human. Hahahhaa.

i never said anything was wrong with cruelty, you folks did.

i also never said you shouldn't eat meat. again, i don't care
- you said it was unnecessary in our diet and that eating it was cruelmonospaced
- which, is of course, not truemonospaced
- it is unnecessary and it does cause suffering in animals. i think you're getting hung up on the term "cruel"scarabin
- if i enjoyed eating meat i'd do it too. again, i wear leather, etcscarabin
- i'm just honest about it and know i'm causing the suffering of animals. no big deal.scarabin
- I know that an animal dies so I can eat meat, but that's how it's been happening for billiions of yearsmonospaced
- + that it's unnecessary and purely for pleasurescarabin
- no, an animals dies because you killed itscarabin
- animals die so they can be eatenmonospaced
- you're right, i misread your commentscarabin

nature is cruel, i fully understand that. just don't lie to yourself by thinking you aren't the cause of suffering in animals
- monospaced0
I just don't think we should, as a species, feel bad for consuming meat sources since that's how all omnivores/carnivores have been doing it for billions of years.
- i never said you should feel bad about itscarabin
- your reaction to causing unnecessary cruelty is fully up to youscarabin
- I guess I felt that you were implying that I hadn't yet realized that I was "bad" or somethingmonospaced
- or that since you had "accepted" it that you were judging those who hadn't had the same conclusion as youmonospaced
- we're all goodmonospaced
- the only thing i'm judging in any of this is hypocrisy. i have no opinion on whether one should eat meat or notscarabin
- just wanted people to realize that they are condemning things they are part of on a regular basisscarabin

animal cruelty is watching fellow humans die of starvation as they build your next iphone
- it seems we're all guilty of cruelty in some way or anotherscarabin
- some types of buddhists take avoiding it to the extreme and wear face masks so they don't accidentally inhale gnatsscarabin
- someone should let those buddhists know how many living forms they kill just by washing their faces dailymonospaced
- lolscarabin
- it is true, y'knowmonospaced
- viruses and bacteria are living things too! stop fighting disease, it's cruel!monospaced

on animal cruelty and food...
these animals are raised as livestock to be my food.
it is not like I am some kid from europe somewhere setting cats on fire for a youtube video... that is animal cruelty
if your entire existence was intended to be a food stuff for humans, it's not like you're some poor dog on the side of the road shot by someone in a passing car.
animals raised for food aren't animals in nature, therefore their death is expected.
in the words of Rene Girard...
because the victim is sacred, it is criminal to kill him, however, the victim is sacred only because he is to be killed.
Thanks food industry. :)
p.s. back off on all the antibiotics and crazy feeding patterns though.

During World War One, German dirigibles (used to bomb London) required the intestines of over a quarter of a million cattle (each) to construct the hydrogen bladders.
