nah, what I think is, he assumed I was a kid (cos he was talking about how much a junior would earn) and assumed that he knew more about it because hes a printer but also does design and that he's doing it longer so he's better than me, this was apparent after he asked what kind of design I did, what programmes I knew and if I was any good (seriously, he asked if I was any good, I just said 'yeah', what am I going to say? 'no Im shite actually, ta for asking').
He told me he owned his company and did design from his house (his words). It became a pissing contest that I wanted nothing to do with.

One thing I did get a chuckle from, while walking from one pub to another he tried to hit on my mates girlfriend who, unfortunately, was walking behind us with him.
He said 'Well you must be unpopular so, all those pricks have left you on your own'.
She said 'you mean my boyfriend?'
He changed tact, 'Well, your boyfriend's seems cool, but the rest of them are just pricks'. (pointing at me and a few others including the brithday boy)

it honestly still surprised me that people like that exist at times. one of my favourite things about growing up has always been the freedom to ditch hanging about with anyone who remotely annoys the piss out of you

Glasses cleaner that's okay for use with plastic lenses and with coated lenses is also great for screens.
