dear blog,
i just ate some very tasty Greek food here in taipei.
http://www.durbanbay.com/2008/07…food was soo juicy and the salad was soo tasty made me nostalgic of Astoria Queens Greek restaurants in NYC.
i started with a hummus plate and feta cheese glass of white wine and then a greek salad, followed by to skewers of marinated chucks of lamb. then for main i had lemon roasted potatoes with 5 lamb chops.
soo good!!!
if any one ever visits Taipei i highly recommend this restaurant.thanks for listening.

Seriously, I'm tired about having dreams about plane crashes. Its screwing me up and instilling a serious aversion to flying.

i was in a Cessna plane flying from los angeles to palm springs and the right propeller just stopped mid air at 14,000 feet. the left side of the plane immeadiately flipped upwards and the plane was now in a downward spiral headed to earth, im not sure what happened but the pilot got the right propeller to start again, and we had to emergency land in a small field. everyone on the plane was fine, very rattled and shaken but over all fine..
i have nightmares to this day about that but i still fly on a plane at least 4-7 times a year.
its a scary thing...
but dreams of freddy kreuger scare me a ton lot more...

My brother and I, along with my parents, just finished cleaning most of the front yard and back yard. My sisters started it during the week, and we still have one more day (tomorrow, Monday) to go.
So far we have clipped flowers and plants (and my mom has TONS of them everywhere), cut the grass, trimmed the sides where the (manual, because my parents won't spend money on more convenient equipment) lawn mower won't go, put plants in those circle-thingies that keep them upright, put soil and sand and red wood chips everywhere, took all the weeds out (most by hand, and including the cracks in the driveway), washed out the entire garage (it is full so we had to move everything to either side while cleaning), used a pressure washer to get weird gum-like spots and paint off the cement floor, and then used broomsticks to sweep all the nasty stuff away.
It took a few hours. Water never tasted better.
