it looks and functions great. musicamatch kept me away from the ipod. now soon as i have the cash i will buy one.
it makes me uncomfortable seeing that awful aqua scrollbar on my pc. minor complaint.
- kpl0
at least that's how it's done on the mac. maybe ctrl-c...ctrl-v on a pc?

musicmatch has always been one of the worst music apps in existence, although ephpod has treated me really well (and dr. tag to get all my id3s in line)..
downloading itunes now to check it out...

"Hell froze over
Introducing iTunes for windows.
The best windows app ever."Nucca please!!!

yeah, i love it but the taglines apple comes up with these days are a joke.
best windows app ever?

browsing around the store i noticed these files are quite expensive in my opinion. they don't even cut you much slack if you buy an entire album. i have even spotted some albums that cost more than purchasing the songs individually. oh well.

Yeah the store is lame.
If im going to buy music I demand the booklet artwork.otherwise..
metallica hates me.. :)

can you snatch the cover art off itunes?
- ER0
to long time mac/itunes users:
Do you make playlists for all your albums? or do you play by album through the browsing feature?
if you dont make playlists for albums, do you just use the playlists for mixcd's?

prices seem fine to me.
9.99 for an album is fair ... remember the artist.
ya.. you can drag the image from like amazon into the album window on a pc too.. works great.

What I Like:
Cross referencing
Auto Create Playlists
Ease of Use, I had everything up and running in a short time. What I Don't Like:
No Always on Top
The player is huge
Can't send to system tray (see WinAmp) and get it off the taskbarI'll use it for a bit and see if I can get deal with these things for the long term. Otherwise back to WinAmp.

click the little windows button on the top right corner of itunes... the middle one of the 3
it makes a small player

i saw a rolling stones album going 13.99 for ten songs. i have no doubt i could find a new cd for about the same price.
i just think with no physical product to produce and distribute the price could come down a little.
- Mountain0
Doh! I can't believe I didn't try that. Ok so strike that off my list.
Still no Always on Top though?

Minimize to system tray for PC is a must, it needlesly takes up task bar real estate when the system tray will sufice.
- Meeklo0
white sneak im with you..
it should go down a LOT!
yes remember the artist..
and what about the guy that is designing the cover?
I think its fair that if are buying the album you pay form his stuff too..I dont think im getting into this paid mp3 thing.. I hate the lies on those ads, I dont even donwload music anymore but it just makes me want to do it again.. liers.
I rather pay for the album on cd..
call me old school if you want..:)

personally i hate always on top.... wouldnt mind haveing a little player versioin that resides on teh taskbar
- Mountain0
Always on Top is an option though. On other Windows-based apps you can have it on or off.
For a non-music example, I can play movies in MediaPlayer (and that's all it's good for) in a little corner of my desktop while i'm working.
For music players, with a small WinAmp Skin I find that I can place it always on top in a 'Dead Area' of the desktop (an area I use infrequently).
Again, the option would be nice, but apparently QuickTime can't be played always-on-top either?
