don't even giv3 him the satisfaction q.
btw can you check something for me. Run iTunes and start to rip a cd and check your cpu usage. Mine goes up to 100%. just wondering if something is fucked on my end.
thanks

mine goes up pretty high..
i noticed that ripping slows down the comp pretty good.
not 100.. but definatly up in the 60s.....
acctually it takes up less than other rippers ive used.. so im cool with it

you CAN drag songs into playlists... and I AM too lazy to open up nero. I'd rather drag the songs I want to a playlist and hit burn. seems easier...

ha ha I just read your anti-MAC rant... getting to you huh? I was a PC guy until about 95 then I switched... I actually don't like the gum drop interface on the OSX had to install duality to get the gray back.
don't be a hater there buddy just cuz apple wrote a good mp3 player for the PC. Winamp is outta here! (even though I love them as people)

ya,,,, i bought a few songs.... very fast.. its great

Any way to mark a single song as a single ? iTunes thinks single songs are 1 song albums

i honestly have a hard time believing you guys actually prefer itunes over winamp or qcd... im not a fan of winamp really, but i like it better than itunes...
besides that, their affiliation with the major labels twists my drawers... you think the labels rob artists?!?! try dropping the price of the songs, giving apple 60% of the cut and then tell me how much you think the artist is getting...
itunes is nice with my ipod, but ephpod gives me more options, and itunes goes to shit if i change my id3 tags with another app.. on top of that it does not utilize the windows standard by any means which basically means it's a piece of unusable shit to a windows user (usability is supposed to be a key to strong app development)...
you may think that the mac interface is better, and i won't argue, but if you're going to build for another platform, it would be nice if you would respect the standards of that platform.
i've no qualms with apple in general, but itunes has quite a ways to go to be a strong player on a win desktop. The burn / rip / ipod features are what make it, and there's plenty of apps on win that are far more usable / powerful for the pc.
i digress into my drunkeness.

don't tease me boz, you know i've a similar dream

winamp is great don't get me wrong but I've been dieing to be able to just creat a playlist and hit a button to burn a cd instead of hunting down the songs in my fucked up ass mp3 collection... there's like 14000 songs in there and they are NOT in the least bit organized... so... I must use itunes. sorry winamp...
and winamp always seems to crap out when I add more than 10000 songs. I might even buy a song or two from the store...

you know u PC people really make me laugh. you skin your Pc to look like OSX, but you will never get it. Its not about how it 'looks', it still acts like, funtions like and runs like a PC.

it seems mitee_ that since you are blinded by your ignorance, you can't see why we are doing this. Most of us actually prefer XP over OSX, we just like the looks of OSX.
- unknown0
yes it still does act and run and function like a PC.. and if you havent used XP on a PC or having used PC in a while.. you wouldnt understand.
We want to use PCs now... they are much better than your mentor or whatever mac person you grew up with taught you.

ps... follow up on the RAM issue..
my iTunes was running at 9megs today..
wtf... thast down from 23-32 when i first used it.
I think it might have to do with the New Skin i gave window..
i have a feeling the default windows theme is messing up things and people do now know it..

Totally Burty...that explain smoother XP operation.

hmmm if you quit itunes
ipodservice.exe is still running I don't like that
