"to compare the union jack to the swastica is frankly sickening...
I appriciate that some people wouldnt of liked it, as it represented opression and an empire... funny how they are still all part of the comonwealth though...

eeeer, I dont think Ireland is part of your commonwelth. And I wasnt comparing the union jack to the swastica. I'm just saying that it too was hated by millions, but now people dont look at it with the same fear/resentment.
My point is is that a symbols representation can change. And for the record, (not aimed at you kingk) Ireland is not Britain!!! "Republic" of Irleand. About 50% of people I meet while Im abroad call me British, not that theres anything wrong with being british, but I am fucken Irish. Thank you

These fuckers are exploiting what Hitler did and it’s naive to believe otherwise. Plain and simple! Its not no artistic statement, look at there own comments.
Did anyone even read the original article?

I don't think fashion should use such a emotive and painful motif as a swastika and third rieich symbolism.
Isn't the Rising Sun mark pretty offensive in that part of the far east? UK fashion used to use that in the 70's.

I think you need to make the distintion between a county's
flag and a symbol on a flag.Of course some flags are going to have negative conotations...
the union jack to most of the world, the stars and stripes to most of the middle east, and the chinese flag to the taiwanese for example.

Sexypix,
Again, I'm not saying the oppression done by Israel today is OK.
People who work for the organization I'm part of (which opposes occupation) are in daily danger because of their opinion.
Yet, the fact that every time that Nazis are mentioned, Israel's actions are mentioned and not, for example, the Syrian occupation in Lebanon, the amputation of arms by the rebels in Sierra Leon, the ongoing French and Spanish occupation of the Basques, smells a bit to me of guilt.

I said nothing about Isreal. But there is good in every country. I know that much.

well i guess some of you are narrow-minded hypocritics. it's really nice to see you people hating nazis, but i bet most of you really like those shirts with che on it.... and the symbolics of the ussr is thought to be kinda cool as well. Well you d better read Solzhenitsyn and then youll find out that the communist regime killed about 8 times as much people as the nazi regime altogether.
