14,5 Kg, ooops.
You're going to feel that 5 Kg difference for sure if you bike uphill.but, if you like downhill biking some more Kilo's aren't that bad.
sherman, too cold in canada to bike? personally, i like biking in freezing conditions (well, coolest trip ever was at -8 degrees Celcius).

i just called my local bike shop and they said to measure from the middle of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. they said that's how the manufacturer gets the bikes size.

Use the Gary Fisher Matchmaker

stewart, in your diagram, B only goes up as high as where the seat tube meets the top tube... on my bike that's the difference between an entire size.
thanks anyway!

mitsu: the most important size is the lenght of the horizontal tube from the seat to the front.
the lenght of the vertical back tube can be adjusted with the seat thing.
my bike store has a special machine to sit on and measure your ideal bike size... look for a store with this service.

i like your way more, but the bike shop guy said that's the european guide for measurment and amerian manufacturers go by the seat tube length...
this is for selling a bike btw, so i'll just get both measurements and not worry about it ;p
