did you read how fast the shuttle was moving? 12,500mph, if Al-Queida could hit that thing while it was moving, then we're all doomed.

nasa's not in a position where they can hold up flights until this is solved, as they did when Challenger exploded. Not unless they abandon the Space Station.

The shuttle was 200.000 feet up... (63.000 m) travelling at a speed of mach 6 or more,... 16 day-mission.... They had a problem with a tile falling off at take-off though...
And...no terrorists up there....:-|
