Blimey, it was 22 years ago today that I went to this all-nighter at a warehouse on the opposite side of the Thames to the Millennium Dome. I have good memory of sets by Boards of Canada (who have only ever played live once since this show) and Aphex Twin who I remember playing Take On Me by A-ha at 78rpm over blasting electronic noises to great effect. It was also one of those gigs when the only way to stay up all night dancing about was to drop a few e's which really kept me going as everyone was well into the party mood. I also recall seeing Bjork wandering about and it was indeed an Incredible Party!

    • Plaid played live? I swear I’m the only person I know in the US who has even heard of them. I prefer to call them Andy Handley. :Dimbecile
    • Heh, Plaid weren't much to look at live at the time. had good visuals in the mid 00s. Kinda crazy Prefuse 73 was doing Warp gigs that early. LP dropped 2003kingsteven
    • I was prob in the same mental state as you this night, 5,500K miles away, at Club Giant in Hollywood. Then end up at house in West Hills poolside.HijoDMaite

    • I've seen Plaid live twice, but was obviously 'a bit' wasted both times, because it was only years later I realised they're a duo. I thought it was just a dude.Nairn

    • What a ridiculously amazing lineup! Some point you're going to have to admit you've met Banksy because you've at least met one of them.garbage
    • ie the main one is implicated in this overwhelmingly jealousy-inducing flyer.garbage
    • This is just the ticket, I've tried to keep all my stubs over the years but for all the raves & festivals I went to I only have memoriesGardener
    • You hoard in good ways. But really, is one of the Banksy's in this group? Without outing them, of course.garbage
    • Banksy used to personally reply to emailsinteliboy
    • But which Banksy was it? It's not one dude. He's floated around some of these bands. Broken Social Scene as well.garbage
