Fully vaxed with Moderna since mid April. I went to Vegas without a mask 2 weeks ago and a birthday party with some of the same group last weekend.
Someone in my group from Vegas tested positive after being fully vaxed and returning to work with all vaxed people. Now I'm very sick so I've scheduled a test for Saturday.if I'm able to still get covid with the vacine, I shutter to think how rect I'd be if I didn't get one at all and this is that Delta variant. I'm not afraid of dying and not as bad as my covid from 2020 but this is very uncomfortable.

- 1st time would have gone to the hospital if I knew how deadly it was. I'm asthmatic. I thought I was going to die at home @1 point. That was Feb 2020.shellie
- I'm pretty sure I had it in Feb 2020 as well, but we didn't have testing yet. 2-3 weeks of hiccups every time I breathed in, day or night.garbage
- My esophagus kept closing up, I had to teach my girlfriend how to do the heimlich maneuver. Had to do it to myself a few times via doorframe.garbage
- I spent a few weeks being afraid to go to sleep because I thought if my throat seized up I wasn't going to wake up.garbage

- Me too ... sick for at least 2 weeks back in mid Feb of 2020 ... no testing at that time ... but pretty sure I had it. Worst I’ve ever felt in my entire life.Ramanisky2

- Do a PCR test if possible. If you are under 65, you have a good chance of surviving well, with or without vaccination.api
- Interesting though, with vaccination the symptoms should be milder not severe.api
- as long as no PCR brings clarity, it can also be another disease. anyway, wish you a speedy recovery & keep us updated if it is indeed covid!api

- @lvl id recommend masks. I only went maskless for 2 weeks. LA is reinstating the mask mandate starting this Saturday.shellie
