haven't read any reviews yet, but I keep hoping spaces will come back. *sniff* i love spaces, and haven't upgraded because I like it so much.

Mountain Lion is simply Lion with the kinks out; nothing groundbreaking just edits & alterations...
Fast & refined though...
Top 5 new features:
1. Safari 6.0 - Google Chrome-like but with Apple polish.
2. Airplay Mirroring - Mirror your laptop to your Apple TV - enabled flat screen. This is massive & a no brainer addition.
3. Notification Centre - Already miss Growl, but this unifies things from Mobile to Desktop for better or worse.
4. Messages - Finally a non-beta seemingly stable version of a tool I've come to rely on to speak to friends & family alongside FaceTime.
5. Notes - My iPad notes is now perfectly supported (& synced) between iOS & OSX; simple? Yes...
; )
- Growl isn't an Apple product.monospaced
- monospaced, I was simply referencing my past usage of Growl; I know.ideaist
- got it, coolmonospaced
- Growl is a miserable annoyance. I hope the Notification Center is easier to get rid of.CyBrainX

It's quite good actually. The Twitter integration is quite nice, I like how you can Tweet from the Notifications window. Safari is quite tidy too. Just having a mess about... It seems quite quick actually. CS6 apps feel like they load quicker.
I've got a 2.4GHz MacBook which is probably 2/3 years old so I'm not exactly cutting edge but everything does feel a lot slicker.
- 13-inch, Aluminum, Late 2008 to be exact. At last, 'More info' in 'About This Mac' is actually useful!Raniator

How do you turn the 'save the password' thing off in Safari. I use 1Password you see. Is 1P dead now because of Safari?
- Just say never when it prompts youanimatedgif
- Well yes but I thought I could avoid it completely. No worries.Raniator

I can’t believe they’v taken RSS from safari. This is the first time I have ever whined about anything Apple related.
- I bought Reeder a while ago and don't really use it latelyernexbcn
- Not many people used that, there are a bunch of dedicated apps that are 1000x better....ArmandoEstrada
- RSS bookmarking was just easier than checking another app.nb
- "bought" Reader? As in Google Reader?mg33
- No, Reeder as in an app.Raniator
- See spelling of "reeder" versus "reader"... ; )ideaist

As long as my work related software works over my OS bug free I could care less what version my OS is.

No multi-level file systems? WTF
- what does that mean? no folders?inteliboy
- Your normal file system is there. If you *choose* to store on iCloud, you get one level of folders.Nathan_Adams

Well my work depends upon my subscription to over a thousand
RSS feeds — I blog. And I am freaking out about this.I can’t believe with all the blogs out there, no seems to giving
any outcry. Im just at a loss for words with this.- I can't believe someone serious about RSS actually used the built in systemanimatedgif

@pauli here's a couple of apps
http://netnewswireapp.com/mac
http://reederapp.com/mac/indexReeder needs a Google account (works with Google reader to sync and store RSS feeds). The other app works either stand-alone or also with Google reader.
