What's with the giant tabs in Safari 6? So stupid looking when you have two huge tabs side by side like that.
- Agreed. I hope it changes.mg33
- They just keep tinkering with things for no reason.CanHasQBN
- Already got used to it. No big deal.
GRAC - Weird how many times they've tweaked safaris tabs over the yearsanimatedgif
- Probably a usability thing. Can't say I'm bothered at all, but I did notice it.Raniator

I don't really notice much.... glad reminders is on it's own and maybe I can forgo the use of a third party to do list app.
overall I do like how snappy it all feels.

Mountain Lion is simply Lion with the kinks out; nothing groundbreaking just edits & alterations...
Fast & refined though...
Top 5 new features:
1. Safari 6.0 - Google Chrome-like but with Apple polish.
2. Airplay Mirroring - Mirror your laptop to your Apple TV - enabled flat screen. This is massive & a no brainer addition.
3. Notification Centre - Already miss Growl, but this unifies things from Mobile to Desktop for better or worse.
4. Messages - Finally a non-beta seemingly stable version of a tool I've come to rely on to speak to friends & family alongside FaceTime.

So is it worth paying £20 or I better spend it in random apps?
- It's cheaper than a pizza so yesanimatedgif
- If you see it that way - but I normally pay a tenner for the most awesome pizza you can ever have... in London : (
maikel - lol @ good pizza in londonmonospaced
- Well it's actually £13.99 not £20.
And a Dominos Medium with dips that you'd foolishly order drunkanimatedgif - drunk is about £15+ and it's certainly better than that.animatedgif
- Mac OS X Pizzaset
- focken great pizza here

And yeah, it's only a couple of pints, so whatever...maikel - Yeah heard very good things about franco mancaanimatedgif

Remove "fatty tabs" from Safari 6:
- Thanks ern. Too late though, I'm already in love with Chrome.CanHasQBN
- Chrome > All other browsers. Period.d_rek

Working better for me than Lion. Lion was a POS until I did a clean install. Upgrading to ML though worked fine though. Not a lot of user noticeable details other than notifications though.

Where can you see the downloading progress in the app store?
- Nevermind. I see it in the Purchases section.mg33
- Their icons in the Apps folder tooanimatedgif

i'm really liking iMessages, reminders - and the dictation to text has been hugely helpful for me...
the only thing that's throwing me so far is the loading bar in safari... the way it shoots across like something's being thrown out the side of the screen irks me.
- It looks much faster this way, tiresome in the long run.raf

Looks impressive on Apple's website, but as usual now I've installed it I'm having trouble working out what the difference is.
Does someone want to do a Top 5 (Top 10 if you can stretch it that far) Tips thingy.
Aww, go on. Prove to yourself at least something is different...

; )
- Growl isn't an Apple product.monospaced
- monospaced, I was simply referencing my past usage of Growl; I know.ideaist
- got it, coolmonospaced
- Growl is a miserable annoyance. I hope the Notification Center is easier to get rid of.CyBrainX

Think it's working better for me to on an iMac just over the cutoff point.
Lion was a bit sluggish at times. My only issue was the scrolling acceleration

This fixes that

Did it deactivate all non-OS fonts on install?
- bjladams0
