@lowimpakt
I think you might be mistaken, I'm not worried.about my point:
If your retardation has inhibited you from grasping my simple point, then please strain yourself no further. My point was never meant for your comprehension.I do appreciate your effort, though.

I think the point that you might be missing Styleplus is that regardless of weather we're being sold a false green day by the corporate world, humans are definitely becoming more aware of how un-sustainable our actions have been over the last 300 years. Many people are trying to live more sustainably on a day to day basis, others are just participating in this green hour. Either way, I agree that industry will have to follow suit if we ever want to solve our problems. But by making small changes in our daily consumption patterns we are thwarting what industry truly wants from us and I think that is the start of the kind of change you are talking about.

Everyone should watch this video on Earth Day...

Hey bogue.
I appreciate your honest attempt at getting my message.
I feel like you understand some of it, which is good.Allow me to be succinct:
we 'small people' are not causing 'major problems' in the environment. NOT EVEN CUMULATIVELYthis being so, our paltry individual actions, though beneficial for the environment, should not be mistaken for 'saving the environment'. And after you turn your lights back on, after leaving them off for an hour, you should get up and inform your neighbor about the scam that we're ALL living under.
Once enough people can see the farse as a FARSE, then it will simply dissolve. The farse can only exist via ignorance.
THE FARSE CAN ONLY EXIST VIA IGNORANCE.On this planet, we have organizations known as MILITARIES.
Besides slaughter, militant groups small and large cause A LOT of trouble on this planet, including massive waste. yes. Tanks expend PETROL. So do Helicopters, Fighter Jets, and bombers. Aircraft carriers, as well. Submarines, not to be excluded. War ships included.A lot of toxic waste is also dumped onto the open market courtesy of world militaries and the corporations with which they work in lock step.
---this should be enough for anyone still capable of critical thinking. At this point, those with functioning comprehension abilities will do their own research to find out if my remarks are valid.
to all else:
Please don't be bothered by my statements. Consider them ridiculous, unfounded blabber.
then go back to sleep.
- skt0
for someone that is trying to paint himself as the smartest man in the room, you do a really good job of sounding like a right thick cunt styleplus.
what is the going rate for toxic waste on the open market by the way?
- lowimpakt0
Styleplus - can you prove your theory of a scam?
e.g. actual evidence of a scam
- styleplus0
@skt
I'm not trying to paint, it's your perception that led you to your conclusion, but thanks for the compliment.I notice that you seem irritated, skt.
I will advise you to inspect your vaginal cavity, as you may have mold growing.
moldy vagina can be a cause of irritation.
- styleplus0
@lowimpakt
I don't have a 'theory' to proveyou can take my statements in this thread, dissect them, and do a tad bit of research on the web.
Via this method, you will quickly find out if my statements have substance.
no doubt, Several people have already done this.
but they are not posting here asking for further proof.If you don't want to do this, please don't.
you're always free to go back to sleep.
- joeth0
So stylepus,
Your whole argument seems to be devaluing the power of the individual. As voters, consumers, parts of communities and organizations, etc, do you think we have any power against this kind of injustice?
I'm not sure if you're suggesting that we should do more about it, or that it's a lost cause and we should just sit and watch it happen.
- btw, if you're so passionate about what you say, you should be able to come up with a link or two for evidence.joeth
- styleplus0
@ joeth
to answer your question:yes, but please see my preceding remarks in this thread to supplement that 'yes'
to clarify my suggestion:
we should take APPROPRIATE action, and then MORE of that.
again, my remarks preceding these are relevant to your inquiry.
I suggest you revisit them.I've been quite eloquent in this thread, so I find it humorous that I get these recurring redundant questions.
- skt0
joeth - 'are suggesting that we should do more about it, or that it's a lost cause and we should just sit and watch it happen?'
styleplus - 'yes'.
lol @ eloquence
- styleplus0
@joeth
I am able to come up with several links, but I'm not an encyclopedia.
if you don't get what I'm saying, then don't believe me.turn your computer off once a year and go back to sleep.
it actually makes me little difference.
it's not very difficult to take what I stated to a search engine.
the results will speak for themselves.If you don't want to do that, I won't make you, nor will I care.
get it?
- styleplus0
@skt
I hope you are laughing out loud indeed. dumbass.joeth posed 1(singular) question to me:
"As voters, consumers, parts of communities and organizations, etc, do you think we have any power against this kind of injustice?"I believe you misquoted joeth's statement. I'll copy and paste it for your dumb ass, so you will be less confused:
"I'm not sure if you're suggesting that we should do more about it, or that it's a lost cause and we should just sit and watch it happen."--you added a question mark, and the word 'are'.
I'm sure that was unwitting mistake.- you're unable to make a coherent point, so you alter other people's statements. I'm LOL.styleplus

yeah, i kind of fucked that one up really... should have read the full post.
anyway, having been thoroughly vanquished by a superior mind, i can now move on to the things i was meant to be doing. which, thankfully, doesn't involve telling strangers on the internet that the machine is going to get them.
- "should have read the full post."
uh. yeah. you should have also restrained yourself from appending that question mark.styleplus

Al Gore love's earth day...
The Tennessee Center for Policy Research, an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan research organization committed to achieving a freer, more prosperous Tennessee through free market policy solutions, issued a press release late Monday:
Last night, Al Gore’s global-warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, collected an Oscar for best documentary feature, but the Tennessee Center for Policy Research has found that Gore deserves a gold statue for hypocrisy.
Gore’s mansion, [20-room, eight-bathroom] located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES).
In his documentary, the former Vice President calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing electricity consumption at home.
The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh—more than 20 times the national average.
Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359.
Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006.
Gore’s extravagant energy use does not stop at his electric bill. Natural gas bills for Gore’s mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year.
“As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk to walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use,” said Tennessee Center for Policy Research President Drew Johnson.
In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006.”
