A thought..
A total right to bear arm is just as extreme as no right to bear arms.

@winnie_the_shit:
you're confused. Hitler dis-armed the population as a primary directive.population dis-armament is one of the first steps toward fully enslaving that population
for proof you ask?:

I understand styleplus, and I read that and I see what you mean.
If the right to bear arms isn't even, and total, and for everyone, then that gives one group of people more power over the other. Right? and then they can be enslaved? right?
I get this. I agree with that sentiment.
I am not american, don't own a gun, and have no interest in guns.. so what may seem obvious to you, is a little foreign to me.

i still believe that if laws were not formed by our government to offset said "militias" this country would march on itself, not that we would know what to do but an exodus towards dc with a bunch of dedicated citizens could remove those in power manipulating our countries "power" do you sincerely believe winnie shit is mad at all 300 million of us or is it the result of our governments treatment of it's population and the skewed media coverage of said issues?

Ok,
How do you teach people with the ubiquitous right to bear arms, that using those arms as a means of solving their problems is wrong?

How do you teach a child, giving a gun from an early age, and who is told it is their constitutional right to defend themselves from oppression, that the bullies and mean people at school don't deserve to be shot and also have the right to live?

Handguns are fucking bullshit. A handgun won't feed and it sure as shit won't keep you from being enslaved in some fantastical future dystopia. Are you going to fight a military power trying to enslave you with handguns? Come on. If we're ever enslaved by force, no amount of gun law leniency is going to tip the tides against a national army.
I wish crazy gun-rights people would just admit the truth: They either feel the need to compensate for their tiny penis, are terrified of scary people of color or fantasize about being John Wayne.
I'd also like to inject this into the conversation: Accidental shootings.

Where do you draw the line and how do you know when the government has officially oppressed the people and is now the time to form militias?
How do you get everyone to agree to this? And, in the case of the above scenario.. Who leads?

I teach firearms safety to kids during the summer, I own an Assault Rifle, handguns, and see nothing wrong with it. I have never had to shoot a person, nor have my other firearm owning friends or summer camp students.

So in a society where all have the right to bare arms, shouldn't all who wish to exercise their right to bare arms have right-to-life ethics training? Gun safety training?
Shouldn't all who wish to exercise their right to bare arms be licensed as a responsible gun owner?
I mean.. you need to be licensed to drive a car.
So you know, that everyone driving their car around is at least basically trained in the art of driving.Just saying.. what do you think of that?

So people with criminal records are a sub-class of americans without the right to bare arms?

I think firearms safety is something that could be easily implemented on a mass scale. But to require individual firearms owners to specially licensed to just own a firearm is wrong. For me to conceal carry requires a special license, which you must have training or military experience to obtain.

So a person who served their state mandated punsihment and is now free, absolved of their crimes, is a sub-class of American, below all others, who now has no constitutional rights to own a gun.
Are they enslaved and controlled by the master-class of Americans without criminal records?
