yeah I'm sorry 'little cunt' wasn't really called for but I seriously hate kids like that. I hate their parents even more...if my kid acted like that I would hold a press conference and appologize to the police for having to handcuff my kid. Parents need to step back and look at the situation and realize that their kid acted a fool...what else were the police or anyone else supposed to do to restrain this kid?

My brother and sister are both teachers an d they are absolutely drained at the end of the day.
To be honest, if they weren't teachers, I would look at this situation and say that what those people did were wrong.
But now I can understand why such measures were necessary.

I love teachers.

in the report the police seems to have had arguments with the girls parents. This is a problem guirl and she needs to be dealt with. Its not her home and it is not the teachers responsability to teach the kids how to behave, that is learned at home. School is for academic purposes. I bet if you go to the girls house her room is a mess.

oh and the girl looks terrified in the picture because she knows she messed up. how many times have you seen a kid happy before a spanking?
How many times do you see anyone smiling before a crash? you know you messed up and you are going to pay with the consecuences so you look terrified.
Now, it is not fair that they show the image of the girl scared, i think that is a bad image for the cops. they should also have an image of her taking a swing to the pricipal or talking back when she didnt want to clean her mess.
That'll got you think about it twice.

I wonder what would it be like if everyone who looks terrified while being handcuffed would be released.

oh! and I would give a spanking to the parents too for not teaching the kid respect to elders. not only teachers or police but older people in general.

it's also a bit disturbing that people are using the words "bitch", "smack" and "cunt" in the context of a 5 year old that obviously suffers some mental problem of which the causes are yet unknown. I can imagine a new breed of incapable parents emerges from my generation here. That is very unfortunate.

i vote on a mental psychological condition, poor way of applying restraint if it was really needed and the lets teach her a lesson approach seems way off too
-tank, i really DISLIKE the concept of that ad, its like that duval guillaume Sims video game ad, sure crap people shouldn't have kids but they show it like the problem is crap kids
-vburo, let him without sin throw the first stone (nah thats a load of bullshit) but bad judgement is something everybody has from time to time, it wasnt a personal attack anyway, society always has conflicting opinions and lets be happy we are allowed to have that

sounds ridiculous..3 policemen for 1 five year old..
hate to say it, but if this girl has major behavioral issues, maybe she should be put on drugs, or in a school which appropriately takes care of her.

hym, it's not conflicting opinion when someone admits he is ready to beat up a five year old kid.
that person needs to seek help himself. and i wish not to have such person around me, even in the virtual world.

For those of you who excuse her action because she is 5 is a sure fire way of embedding in her at such a young age that she does not need to accept responsibility for her own actions. As a result we all live in a fuc*ed up world from too many people who were brought up this way.
As for her family and trauma that she might be experiencing at home, I do not not see what this has to do with handcuffing her at this time. At that moment it became imperative to restrain the child from hurting herself, hurting someone in the area or from doing further damage. After she has settled down and some days go by THEN this would be the time to investigate as to what the root of the problem is.
SHE WAS HANDCUFFED! BIG DEAL! It should be scary but she was NOT hurt! This is the same people who think a leashed barking dog is considered "torture". To much.

If she has physiological problems, or family issues (abuse, molestation, etc) this needs to be investigated but at that very moment, she obviously needed to be restrained.
Nobody here is saying that she may not have deep rooted problems but we are just saying that those types of problems does not mean you can lash out and act like this without being restrained.
Handcuffs are not torture and is not a punishment! They were put on her to stop her from further destruction! Thick heads.
