chickens destroyed my backyard garden so i gutted the flower beds in the front of my house that were overrun with succulents and weeds and converted it all to vegetable plots. added manure and soil conditioner, set up an automatic watering system, began germinating a bunch of seeds.

Watched "The Circle" last night on Netflix.
Boy was that a mistake. What a mess of a flick. Absolutely bizarre how poorly well made it is, and I in no way consider myself a high priest of film criticism.
I was quite intrigued by the trailer whenever it came out, and figured given the cast there'd be some scope for subtlety and craftsmanship. Nope, the points it wanted to make were bludgeoned; the characters internally inconsistent at best, irrelevant at worst; the arcs unlikely and unbelievable - even the editing felt shit and I'm not even too sure what editing is.

Just had a client meeting with an entire family, one of whom (the person I needed to speak to) had a weird eye that was ok when she was looking straight at you, but then diverged quite massively from expectation when she wasn't. Very odd. Very awkward (for me).
Poor girl, she was otherwise very nice and supremely competent - so unfair that people have such otherwise essentially unimportant shit impose upon their day to day interactions with other, perhaps stupider and more ignanter humans (like me).
