It's hot, but I feel like I'm sleepier and achier than ever. I don't drink coffee.
What food should I be eating to give me more energy?

Leafy greens, lean meats, and more exercise. Start with more frequent walks : )

Regular exercise may increase your metabolism.
increase metabolism = less fatigue so often.
or so i was told...

stick to whole grains if you're eating carbs, cut back on sugars and white bread which will give you a sugar crash.
- sarahfailin2
cutting back on the amount of meat and dairy you consume can greatly help, if you eat a lot of those.

drink some chlorophyll, it'll help detox you while making your body think it ate like 10000 salads, you can get that shit at any health store like GNC. and exercise, if your too god damned lazy, just start doing short spurts of cardio, like 100 jumping jacks on day 1, double your count the next day, a few days later you'll have the energy to go out for a run, then push it little by little every day.

Have you considered having a cup of coffee?

9 hours of sleep. This will provide the most benefit for the least effort.

I keep some 15 and 20 lb weights near my work area... just having them there everyday is a visual reminder to keep active. Maybe once or twice a day I'll grab them and do some sort of upper body movement or maybe some walking squats.
Also... I live on the 4th floor of an apartment building... but I rarely see the inside of the elevator.
Any chance I get to walk somewhere, walk-up something or lift something heavy I usually opt to do so (ie, avoid that elevator and take the stairs). My Doctor refers to all these things as 'free exercise'—take advantage of them... they add-up.
- < I've got the same, yet I just look at them and reflect on how fucking lazy I am to not use them!dee-dubs

Im in the exact same boat as you.
I really try to not let work overwhelm me. Work stress is not worth it.
I play basketball 2-3 times a week, which i feel really helps. Just stay active some how.

Do you have children?
If the answer is no, you don't know the meaning of the word 'tired'.
