And from the 'You Can't Make This Shit Up' file:
'Post Brexit, UKIP wants tariff-free access to EU single market'
http://www.politico.eu/article/p…- Hamilton is an expert at getting things for free, normally in plain, brown bags from Egyptian greengrocers.face_melter

Spaniards hate the EU? that's pretty much one of the best things that could happen to Spain besides their tourism industry, most of the infrastructure here has been built with the EU funds.

OH DEAR
Boris this morning said there was no need to invoke Article 50 (leaving EU)
EU just released a statement saying that the UK must move on Article 50 without delay (to meet wishes of electorate)
OH DEAR
Farage said this morning that there is no guarantee of 350 million extra for NHS
OH DEAR
Leave side offered no guarantee of reduced net migration
- Net result: the entire UK got the wool pulled over its eyes by a handful of self-interested cunts and arse-fucked the rest of the EU in the process.Continuity
- It's obvious that Leave haven't thought the whole thing through and have no end game, apart from winning the vote.face_melter
- @continuity Not the entire UK, but a good proportion of the 52% that voted leave. Not all of them, but enough.Wolfboy

lots more journalists / reporters saying they've spoken to people who voted out but woke up dismayed that we actually left.
- trooperbill-2
Im pretty happy that the people have spoken. dismayed that cameron isnt staying on to see things through, annoyed that hes giving himself 3 months to feather his next (cosy high paid position in the EU beurocracy?), worried that article 50 takes 2 years in which time we'll have changed government and no doubt be sold down the river and basically locked into the same deals we're in now. At least we did this to ourselves and have no one to blame but ourselves.
oh and i wish scottish mps would stop harping on about another scottish referendum. theyve had 2 already in recent times and voted to stay in both times... how many do-overs do you want until you roll a double six?
- Re: Scottish referendum, Sturgeon said it best: 'Brexit represents a material change to the terms under which Scotland voted against independence.'Continuity
- Having said that, even I'm not Scottish, if they want out of this new UK shit-show, I'm sure the rest of us in the EU would be happy to have them.Continuity
- EU lowered their standards for eastern block countries, thats when it all started snowballing.yurimon
- Again - check your facts yuritroll.sted

Hopefully EU will make a few concessions, UK won't want to split up, new PM ignores this result, we all feel a little smug for putting it up Europe, move on and put this ugliness behind us.
- I don't see that the EU should give a single concession. The British people have spoken, and now they need to reap what they sow.Continuity
- The EU can't give too many concessions though, the more they give the more attractive it looks to any nation thinking about also jumping ship.Wolfboy
- There's that, and why should we give the UK concessions, anyway? They want out, then by all means GTFO.Continuity
- I think it might be that iron fist approach that puts people off. Concession would have to be eu wide, some kind've immigration control to diffuse the rightwingRanger

BOYCOTT MARMITE! lol who eats that
- mekk0
1. EU will find a way to avoid brexit, Art 50 etc

The people have decided, best thing now is the leave QUICK
- shaft-2
Who benefits most? Contrary to popular understanding, Germany. They rule the EU on their own now.
Wait for what Germany / EU officials do next. If they talk about tightening of the integration rather than reforms giving countries more slack, that'll mean I was right on this.
It's even possible they deliberately provoked the UK to leave with the migrant mess they created.

On the plus side, they may now ban imports of cheap spicy salamis from Poland — I fell asleep on the couch this morning sometime, half way through this travesty, having eaten a pack of 4 PICK-brand spicy salamis.
Was bluntly awoken from my slumber at 6.30 by my Italian girlfriend with the grim words "They've voted Brexit", so then spent ten minutes staring at the ceiling before slouching off to bed, where I proceeded to feel terrible.
When I eventually got up properly, I felt sick as shit, and then proceeded to upchuck what I thought at first was bloodied bile with bits of lung in, so was quite horrified... before remebering what I'd stuffed my face with the night before.
So frankly - Sorry, EU, but fuck you, Poland.
- somehow this seems a decent metaphor for the whole eventhans_glib
- you mean fuck you cause it was your fucking choice you fucking meat eater. you can not blame Poland as whole for your own fucking decisions.oey
- specially having an italian girlfriend. LOL!oey
- the last sentence was just trying a stupid statement. there^s nothing wrong with italian girlfriends or italians in general.oey
- I'm not sure I was being entirely serious, oey, but carry on.detritus
- lol, oeyFax_Benson
- Poland doesn't actually make salami more than it makes chorizo.
Get proper kabanos, hunter's or sliced krakowska next time.shaft - Salami will straight kill you yo. Cancer out your asssarahfailin

- there's a bunch of indie game developers in the UK that are being financed by UE programs, lots of people will need to adjust accordingly, it sucks yesernexbcn
- why don't these idiots calm down? as if anything is going to change...hans_glib
- Haha! Not everyone knows that though. In the short term there's a nasty stench of uncertainty spreading across the UK right nowIanbolton
