http://www.comicbookresources.co…your thoughts?
- ApeRobot0
Friend of mine got promoted CG supervisor on this one.
- _niko0
looks a million x better than the last one, but why this black revisionist history of Marvel?

A proper CGI The Thing looks great, but is the new Johnny Storm adopted now? How can he and Sue be siblings?

Oh hey, another super-hero movie.
Gosh, how ... novel?
- They should do series and follow comic book format rather than these bloated film affairs with actor egos competing for screentimedetritus

- Or, I dunno, actually pay creatives to come up with some new ideas. Shock horror.detritus
- Not a fan of the shock horror genre.ETM

Make good film, does well.
Makes second film targeted at kids to sell more merch, fails.
Lets franchise go quiet.
Repeat step one but with darker vibe for adults.
Repeat step 2 etc etcMarvel business plan.

It thought this was a thread about the Beatles.

So glad i never watched the first one(s?). Was never on board with how the Thing looked in that (those?) ones. Looked too "DC". haha

Hard to say for sure, but it looks like they got 'The Thing' right this time.
Now let's see what DOOM looks like.

So weird, just watched a rom-com "That Awkward Moment" last night (don't ask) and both actors that play the new Reed Richards and Johnny Storm were the main supporting cast together in that. HBOgo probably got paid to subliminally market the F4.

Daredevil, Elektra, Ghost Rider, Punisher, Blade and Man-Thing have all reverted back to Marvel Studios in recent years. They are working to get it all back, but Fox and Sony keep rebooting and churning out sequels, so the rights don't lapse.

Looks good. Darker or not - I like films with a bit of grit to it rather than the plain and polished looks of most marvel films.
