Anyone recommend a good vinyl cleaning machine?
I've seen a few online, I really don't want to pay over $600 US for one. I don't mind investing in a simpler one since I am starting to sell my vinyl collection.I came across this: Might be the way to go.

Treated myself to this the other week:
Refurbished and only cost me £33 (soon to equivalent be $50!)
Its okay, USB (not tested) is pretty cool but just till I can get time to build up a collection and can justify the cost. Got to be an all black jobsworth!
Till/if I can get my records back from my ex wife, only have a few albums - found a metal record shop in hackney (london's not entirely dead) got me some Witchcraft
and from good old fopp:
Yeah corny but its getting my fiancée into rock so it rocks and fuck it they rock

@mugwart
This was the ION turntable I had. You can see the grommits that melted my vinyl. I think they are a hard rubber.
If you are using the unit or leave it plugged in, these heat up a hella hot and managed to burn circles in a few of my vinyls that I never noticed until way later (as i wasnt playing that side at the time so never looked).- ahr okay - mine has a slip mat on this - so I think I'm okay. I hope - but good to be aware ofmugwart

After years of regret from selling my decks and stuff a decade ago, I’ve been wanting to pick the habit back up again lately. Couldn’t stomach the idea of dropping $3k+ for an ideal setup so I went the cheap route and bought the Pioneer DDJ-SB3.
For $250 this thing rules. Spent 4 hours on the decks tonight after I tore the delivery boxes open.
- I sold some of my records 10 years ago, now buying them back, so I feel ya Bcanoe

Ooft, Apollo masters went up in smoke, it was one of only 2 plants in the world providing lacquer disks for vinyl mastering. Last few records I've done have been DMM (direct metal masters) but there aren't many plants using that technology (especially in the states). The waiting times to get small runs of vinyl from the big pressing plants can be 3-4 months these days since the majors got back in the game, this will mean fewer independent releases, closure of many plants, labels (and eventually, record shops) in the next year.

I think if one day I get into vinyl, firstly I need a player and would head towards a silver pioneer vintage PL-12D perhaps.
Then I'd get this: https://www.discogs.com/sell/ite…
because the track Nereci seems like it would be perfect for vinyl playing.

Since I spend most of my time in our basement working during the day, I've barely been listening to any records, which are upstairs with my turntable connected to a Sonos setup.
Bought some Klipsch RP-500m speakers and the RP-120 subwoofer, and spent the day wiring everything into our basement entertainment center with a Marantz receiver I hadn't used since we bought our house a few years ago. Next up, the contractor we use is going to sand and paint this white, paint the basement, and get a TV mounted and get this all tidied up.
I haven't listened to records on a fully wired setup in four years and I'm loving this. Been going through records I'd forgotten about and forgot that this Marantz has a sweet spot in the volume that just really shines. Listened to a Catherine wheel record I've listened to hundreds of times over the years on vinyl, cd, streaming, and was hearing new guitar parts in certain songs I'd never noticed before.
When I do the work with the contractor, going to wire the receiver to the speakers on my desk as well, since the receiver has multi-room output
- Nice. I have a couple Marantz components as well. Terrific brand. Solid build.DRIFTMONKEY

I really need to catalog my records so I can check what I already have. Last year I bought records I already own three times (Social Distortion/Prison Bound, The Cure/Head on a Door and Flaming Lips/Transmissions from the Satellite Heart).
I know Discogs is the standard but does anyone use Wax or any other application?- Why not Discogs? It's ridiculously thorough. Down to the etchings.DRIFTMONKEY
