best you've experienced? (mobile/desktop)
it's so hard bc you have to buy everything to see!

that's not true. they usually have a "final review stage" that is basically like checking out without actually committing to purchase.
i'll scope around and see if i can find some good examples.

worst ever, best buy's. got in a loop the other day, kept giving me vague errors on checkout. so i call them and after 10 mins the tech guy's all oh it's b/c even tho it says there are some available it has sold out, the site does NOT live update so you'll just get random errors instead of it saying none left. i told him worst UX fail for a checkout evah and he should tell his programmers to be ashamed of themselves. well in not so many words.
- i realize this is the opposite of what ur looking' for but vented anyway... stupid best buyprophetone

pretty much all airline reservation systems are examples of what not to do. Hope that helps.

apple's is pretty good
also, i like amazon's because it saves all your delivery addresses

hmmm after looking at the stripe one i'm definitely in favor of the step by step flow vs. one page scroll for mobile. bit more fun.

for the most part, people don't feel comfortable making a purchase over $30 on their phone – they have to switch to desktop. curious about the hangup. wondering if there is a way to change that behavior.
