Want To Breathe Underwater Like Aquaman? New Crystals Make It Possible

I just recently discovered "Sixty Symbols" (although it started already a few years ago).
It’s an interview series with scientists (mostly physicicts) at The University of Nottingham, UK.
Each episode deals with a scientific symbol that gets explained in layman terms. The quality and approach is a bit improvised but that really makes the charm of it. Instead of the typical science documentary with bomastic renderings of the big bang you get a bunch of relateable and likeable people just talking to the interviewer and responding to his "naive" questions.
On the side it offers an insight about how science really works on an everyday level: contradicting opinions, problems with funding, peer reviews, outrage about misconceptions in public media. And ever so often, the experts themselves can be seen stunned about the findings in their own field and admitting to not fully getting their heads around General Relativity or String Theory for example (along the saying "If you think you understand Quantum Physics, you don’t").
Plus they all have lovely accents!

People age at wildly different rates, study confirms
A study of nearly one thousand 38-year-olds found that while most had biological ages close to the number of birthdays they had notched up, others were far younger or older.

"Stuff in Space is a realtime 3D map of objects in Earth orbit, visualized using WebGL.
The website updates daily with orbit data from Space-Track.org and uses the excellent satellite.js Javascript library to calculate satellite positions."

Global freezing: A ‘mini ice age’ is on the way by 2030, scientists say.
European scientists warn that by 2030, a decade of winters with deep freezing temperatures could bring about a “mini ice age” the likes of which hasn’t been seen in 370 years.
