The interior looks good and better, but still would never buy a sandwich there.
Changing the iconic logo slightly is a mistake and a big waste of money if they have to change all of them. It's not an upgrade or evolution. It's too similar.
- their egg salad sandwiches are the best thing you've never had.SteveJobs

But maybe I'm still mad UPS changed their logo and I didn't care when Starbucks updated theirs.

It just looks like a lousy supermarket now tbh.

looks pretty good to me. The 7-11 up the street here looks atrocious inside, this will be a night/day difference.
I suppose if you are going to change every store, brochure, etc., etc., might as well adjust the logo (I had to click around before I even noticed the new one's difference...no one else will notice anything but the new interiors, which is good)

Non diy version of this:
http://www.evolutionfresh.com/en…- yes, the convenience store rebrand is like A FUCKING BOTTLE OF JUICE!kingsteven

Hopefully they do an entire overhaul. 7-11 is a Japanese company and Japanese convenience stores make North Americans look like stupid barbaric fat dumb idiots.

Fresh look is supposed to reflect fresh food, etc. ad naseum I'm sure.
Doesn't change what's inside the packages though. I can't remember the last time actually being inside a convenience store in America, let alone bought food of any kind from one.
The only thing I buy in Hong Kong is water while walking but that's because the octopus card makes it in/out easy. that said, I wonder if 7 Eleven HK will go so far as to replace all of their branded umbrellas & other swag as well.
It will make the current stuff "hipster" in the face of this new "modern" appearance.
- i like the tuna sandwiches from hk seven elevens :Peficks
- i might get haribo bears or frutips if they weren't double grocery store pricesalbums
- should have a qbn hk meet upeficks

Loved being able to get beers in 7eleven HK! And also those small vitamin C shots... so yum.

Not an insult to America, it's just that American convenience stores haven't evolved while there are now Japanese 7-11s that serve all freshly made organic food.
- i don't think they care, there's no demand in america, it's a "convenience" culturealbums
- they're doing exactly what they need to for success, your health is not their concern or responsibilityalbums
- i only say those things because...
http://corp.7-eleven…albums - Freshly made organic food? Where is this magical 7-11? Seen no such thing here.Peter
- Best thing they've done in 20 years was put the chips for the nachos in their own bag so you can dump cheese and chili in the container to dip fromSrSamaurai
- Almost everything you said about America is untrue, albums.monospaced

It's smart of them to rebrand and redesign their stores. This way a lot of the homeless and crack dealers that I often see in there will get the chance to see what it feels like to be in a Whole Foods.
- These things started out as "gas" stations, where people bought "gas" and "food" was in a "food" store ffs! PEOPLEZOOP

- i am making a joke there guy. don't get bent out of shape.SrSamaurai

that've found a way to repackage the same garbage and junk food that they've sold in the past, and made it LOOK more healthy and appealing. Brilliant!

Looks like a grocery store.
