I don't think apple's hardware engineers get enough credit. if it wasn't for them samsung would have the same old plastic shit with 2 hours of battery life, slower wifi, etc...
everyone is complaining about the icons — who fucking cares?
- Because this is a design forum. or whats left of one...ESKEMA
- - like it's not an improvement on os6. or there's still 2 - 3 months of tweaking before it launches.

also, if you read the style guides for iOS 7 — the reason the safari, app store, itunes store icons are so tight on the edges is that they are really pushing using the full screen for displaying the content. grouped table views are full screen width, all apps use the full screen area, fonts are also getting bigger.
too many people forget about the functional side of design and complain too much about the subjective visual aspects of it.

i want to see how this new visual design stacks up against real world use - who the fuck has a washed out nondescript gradient as a wallpaper on their phone? most people use a photo, so how will the icons display? plus we're looking at the icons as an interrupted set on the homescreen - again in reality, there will be other app icons next to these ones - youtube, facebook, instagram etc - how will this change the visual display?
- http://d.pr/i/wlTW - the parallax icons are pretty sweet. it's really subtle. it's the same on the lock screen.rosem

I hope that Apple allows it end-users to create/edit/chnage their own icons, because their icons blow money balls!

Do you think this style will find it's way to OSX? It seems it would if they are continuing to try and integrate all systems
- likely... but at least we can change those (for now)monospaced

I'm tired of all this discussing shit. I hate it and I will continue not buying their products. I'm out of the Apple-threads.

It's really slow on iPhone 4. Granted, it's an old phone already. I know one guy that managed to go back to the previous version. I will give it a try tonight.
