Dear QBN population, Im hunting for cool, functional websites with solid social media interaction, nice food and drink menu display, and specially people that are using their website to communicate events, sales, specials etc...
Anything in mind?
Thanks in advance

People don't spend time interacting socially on bar/club/restaurant sites.
- I just can't think of a single one.monospaced

I take it you mean with "solid social media integration" you mean that they communicate well with their audience on Facebook and Twitter rather than meaning people interact on the site?

Pony Bar in the Upper East Side has a digital list for this beers. Not sure you can categorize it as cool or visually well done, but its a start.

and what planet are you from exactly?I mean.. look closely theres a person actually holding an iPad, that's right... someone even decided upfront "Fuck it, I'm going to get bored at this place, I'm taking my iPad with me"
If you ever been to a big concert/ nightclub, you will notice that prior to doors opening you can text friends and receive calls no problem, but by the time the headliner is up on stage, EVERYONE IS FUCKED, no signal of any kind, this is due to 10000s of people trying to interact at the same time.
- They are interacting socially AT bar/club/restaurants... yes. I meant on their websites, dude.monospaced
- These people are tweeting, facebooking, instagramming, and all that... but not on the club sites that i know ofmonospaced
- People need to learn how to enjoy what is in front of them.********

hmm...I think the concept (or even the phrase) 'interacting socially on the website' sounds like it came out of a meeting.
People don't use teh interwebz like that, it isn't "hey, lets meet up on the restaurant website to chat about things and share stuff".
They're already using their social channel to do that, a restaurant or bar website is an end-node that might get shared or interacted with if it has a Facebook page or a twitter feed, but people won't use it as a channel to communicate about that. That's the equivalent of building a walkway through you bar to the other street, so people can use it to chat about going there.

I think my english and betrayed me...
What I mean is I would like to see examples of really cool sites, where the client can understand (from the design and branding) what to expect visually when going to the restaurant.
Also cool ways to show menus and some interesting approach to invite people to FB, TWIT and IG, Im also interested in cool news sections so people who visit the site can see was sup
better?

Restaurants don't really need websites. Yelp has reviews covered and word of mouth is better than anything.
A menu and phone number is good, but it doesn't have to be complicated.
I don't want bars to have IG or Twitter accounts. I don't want to find out specials by following them.
It only works if they're known for changing their menu a lot or have something really interesting to share.
