    hmm...I think the concept (or even the phrase) 'interacting socially on the website' sounds like it came out of a meeting.
    People don't use teh interwebz like that, it isn't "hey, lets meet up on the restaurant website to chat about things and share stuff".
    They're already using their social channel to do that, a restaurant or bar website is an end-node that might get shared or interacted with if it has a Facebook page or a twitter feed, but people won't use it as a channel to communicate about that. That's the equivalent of building a walkway through you bar to the other street, so people can use it to chat about going there.
