- Did they mention onion sandwiches?CygnusZero4
- You cant get sick just eating onions like this?CygnusZero4
- I just wonder what other food they have in lesser quantities that onions were what they had the most of.mg33
- raw onions are good for you, but they might be harsh on the stomach to somemoldero
- + its hard to sleep with raw onion in your bellymoldero
- I did this at a bar when they ran out of free bbq. Put the onions on bread with some sauce.cotton

If it's a choice between onion sandwiches ans scurvy, I know which I'd rather have.

people are always whining and complaining.

First world problem?

I listened to a funny radio segment about this yesterday. They talked about how there is a big group of father/daughters there on some trip. They were realizing how awful it is for a little girl to be going to the bathroom in a bag when the dad can just "hang it off the edge of the boat."
- Are there no buckets they can shit in and dump over the side of the boat?moniker

I also saw on CNN last night these two moms with daughters on the cruise ship, who went to their doctor to get antibiotics to give them right when they get back. With no idea of whether they need them or not. They were sort of using it as a way of showing how much they care about their daughters.
Then CNN interviewed a doctor on air who basically said that was idiotic and actually dangerous to give someone antibiotics without knowing if they need them or knowing what specifics require them.

All is good. Each passenger gets $500. LOL

I really don't know why they're bitching. That cruise was supposed to be 4 days. They got at least an extra day free at sea.

Carnival really could have given them more money, but they did refund their trips, setting them up at hotels in New Orleans, playing for their flight home, giving them a voucher for another cruise (given to some relative they hate). Not too bad.

Right, so onion sandwiches, you say?
Snogging is off the cards for the next few days, then.

My wife and I took a Carnival cruise when we were dating back in 2009. You step one foot on that thing and think "I'm gonna be stuck on this for 5 days with THESE people???!!!" We should have done our homework better.
Talk about dregs of humanity... I think they plucked every overweight, slovenly, uncultured, white trash, redneck, low IQ, pale skinned, overly hairy, middle America son of a bitch and put them all on that boat. We at least had a nice newlywed couple our age from Miami at our assigned dining table each night. But otherwise it was horrific.
They had this [I actually struggle to type this, seriously] beer belly / hairy belly contest by one of the pools that they broadcast non-stop on the in-room TVs. It was so utterly sad that there was a young guy with Down Syndrome that participated. He had no idea what was going on, which made it so weird and disturbing.
I later learned that most other cruise lines are far better. Wish we'd done Norwegian or something. In fact, we've resolved to only ever considering a cruise if it's something in the Mediterranean on a much smaller ship.
- assigned dining table? fuck. that.monospaced
- we ate at a different sitting one night with these older people from some southern state...mg33
- To us it seemed like they were from Mars, and I'm sure they thought that of us.mg33
- Nothing about assigned anything sounds relaxing.monospaced
- well, it's kind of the norm for the main dining hall dinners. you select a seating time, and have a table assigned.mg33
- and when you arrive you are seated looking at Sloth from Goonies, but for real.mg33
- Fuck. That sounds awful. I'd expect to just walk into any restaurant when I want and order. Like anywhere else.monospaced
- I trust your monocle remained secured without fail?BonSeff

Passengers gathered on deck, waving as a helicopter flew overheard. About a dozen people used their bodies to spell out "HELP."
