- Mind you, the idea behind the ending was good. Just the execution.. well, it was fine enough for me as a kid, clearly, just not for me as a pretentious old git.Nairn

- If you had a modulator, you probably had the half meg upgrade which was pretty much obligatory!Nairn
- When I upgraded to the A1200, I used the upgrade slot underneath to hide my hashish. There's probably still some in there, back at the folks'... .Nairn
- The TV modulator is simply a way to connect a TV, nothing else ;)jagara
- Exactly. It was essentially essential.Nairn

Your mom turning off your Nintendo directly on the power outlet switch, in the middle of whatever complicated Metal Gear mission (or insert demanding game here) you were in the middle of.
*TV flashes off*
"C'mon. Time for bed/dinner/homework".
*LOUD SCREAMING AND CURSING*
SUCH a violation. SO unfair. She didn't understand, man! She didn't understand that that I wasn't playing Pacman or something. I was in the middle of hard, complicated WORK to get to a SAVEPOINT to get a PASSWORD to put into the TRANSCEIVER! GAH!
