Got it, good stuff, thanks,
- I want 3 new revisions by noon or you're fired.monospaced

If you stick to shades of blue the C-Wave makes sense, but a yellow or orange wave? you lose the connection there, and it just becomes a shape.
The more I look at it, the more I want to see the end of the C's top terminal rounded instead of squared – something more organic, more wave-like.
- I disagree, I think the color is nice and using too many blues would be a NIGHTMAREmonospaced
- "IF" – I wasn't recommending it, just saying there would be a case (far fewer divisions) where this would work.i_monk

The Orange is the international color for Offshore Vessels, and the yellow is the color used by the company since they are operating, all harbor tugs are painted in yellow.

I understand the utility of it, but I'm not sure that's the right execution.

It's still incredibly off balance with the C right next to the C. Try new arrangements, and please, lay off the Gotham, for everyone's sake.

Have you considered putting the C above the words, or even below? Play with scale, etc.

you guys think the vertical option works better?
- It's well worth exploring.i_monk
- not centered! try left aligning it with a bigger Cmonospaced

Looks like the type is suffocating. Loosen up the kerning.

this could be a logo for anything really...says nothing about maritime.
- It doesn't need to scream 'maritime'. There is a wave in the C.i_monk
- I agree, i_monkmonospaced
- just saying it's very general. If that's what the client is looking for, then you are headed in the right directiondbloc

I'm not against the concept of a subtle wave in the C, but I think this one looks clumsy, it should either be a smoother arc or flatten off more to the left (maybe breaking out of the edge).
Either way i think you should detach yourself from this version and try some more variations, you'll probably come up with something fresher and more interesting.

You can't design by committee.
Logo conversations here always end the same.... generic"Make something no one hates, no one loves it"- Tibor Kalman

jesus what's with the trolls here.
I agree with SteveZissou that the logo can be catered to any other company. Although wave inside C and blue and the word Maritime are present it still lacks definition on what's the company about.
However, if you are keen on following this line this version is the one i like the most.
