http://store.wowwee.com/paper-ja…• Perfect Pitch™: Corrects your pitch so you’re automatically in tune
• Chorus: Multiplies your voice to add depth
• Auto Vibrato: Adds real vibrato to your voice
• Melody Match™: Tunes your voice so you always sing a perfect melody
• Auto Harmony: Makes a copy of your voice so you sound like part of a harmonized duoRetails for $30, I got it for $10. With an 1/8th stereo both in and out, I'll try running all my stuff through it to see what it does. I could plug my xlr to 1/8th adapter and use my real mic then run the headphone out into the mixer.
I haven't opened it yet so I'm not sure if it works as a dry effects processor or if it has to have the song loaded onto the device via the usb / software. Either way, my MC buddies should get a kick out of it.

LOL!
That wowwee paper jamz toy was worth all $10.
As a stand alone toy it would annoy any kid within an hour. I was unable to patch anything through it using an 1/8th to 1/8th. Nothing but extreme signal noise if I tried processing an electrified signal.
However as a mic effects piece, it performed better than expected. It came with 2 loaded songs, and by using the Perfect Pitch and Melody Match effects together you could mumble over the song and people would believe you knew the lyrics because it's auto-tuning it so much. Laughs regardless.
So now that we know it works and we don't need a song playing, we plug the Sennheiser with xlr to 1/8th" adapter into it and try again. The provided mic is so crap, plugging a real mic into it made a world of difference. We're up and running, get a beat playing and these two guys were cracking up so hard doing T-Pain impressions.
If you're looking to add some fun to the studio at almost no cost, I suggest it, the pitch and melody are so obvious they scream youtube remix video.

Does anyone use Traktor as a stand alone app without a controller? A friend of mine is wanting to try it out and I'm encouraging her to just buy the software for $89. I wondered what anyone's experience is with it.

@albums
Its ok to get started with traktor but one big issue is cueing tracks. The cheap way is to split the audio left and right and use one for cueing. You will need some cables adaptors for this. but its cheap. I know a few DJs that started off with this (HoodInternet). Later on you can get a soundcard what not. Maybe even some turntables and a mixer.This method is effective, however I like the tactile feel of turntables and a mixer. Djing with a mouse/trackpad makes me feel like i have one hand tied behind my back. In the end its all about what comes out of those speakers and if shes having fun.
FYI i use serato religiously but thinking of switching because traktor offers so much more toys and stuff.
