This is kinda cool, tho very surprised its limited to 3 knobs lol classic Polyend with their caveats and limitations... Im excited / hoping that "vibe coding" is going to make products like this more commonplace.

Hey gang,
I've got an Arturia keyboard in my studio; it's lovely AND when paired with software and Ableton it's a gem...
...BUT when i'm on the go, travelling, camping, etc I want something that is ideally:
I. Portable / battery driven (I've got a 49-key in the studio and it's great BUT not ultra portable):
II. Built in sound(s) (nice to have could be my own sounds OR record on device).
III. Sequencing; recording would be great, BUT it's more about getting down ideas, playing, etc.
I know some will say "teenage engineering this" OR "teenage engineering that", BUT I can't break the bank with food, utilities, etc. on the rise AND this dang wife & these wiener kids.
THANKS BRO(S) (& @shellie).
: )
- THIS would be great BUT a tad big and a bit more than i'd like to spend:

https://robotspeak.c…ok_not_ok - I've got the same, and it never moves :-)
A melodica is like less than $100, plus the weiner kids can enjoy it too :-)canoe - Whoa.ideaist
- You make music while camping? :)jagara
- I'd say an iPad and maybe a keith mcmillen k-board or QueNexus and choice apps.microkorg
- See if you can get a 2nd hand OP-1. You'll be amazed at what an amazing little sketchbook it is that you'll always reach for.microkorg
- IMO the OP-1 excels as a fun sketchbook for ideas. Not so good when it comes to finalising tracks, you need to save out to a computer for that.microkorg
- Not YET @jagara; #goals. I've got my eye on a Marketplace OP-1 @microkorg. I wanted an OB-4, BUT it's too limiting, no line out, etc. MORE a speaker...ideaist

Check out this incredible Reddit thread. It's a guy who posted about the passing of his father who was a huge modular synthesizer user.
https://www.reddit.com/r/synthes…
He had music on Spotify
https://open.spotify.com/album/1…Seriously, read the whole thread. The OP responds to a lot of people and talks about his dad's protective nature making music, how much time he devoted to it, etc.
- My weird first thought... did he have time to be a dad? Us men in our man caves.mort_

- They need to have those in dentist office lobbies around the world.mg33

This is one of the more unique pedals I've seen anyone come out with in a while. I bet this will be amazing on synths and such.

i know i have been vaporwaving the app i have been working on for like a year now.. but claude code kicked this from being a simple little function app into a fully fledged audio software.. i went from 1 function with some effects to a whole ecosystem with 18 different modules.. it went from offline processing to real time instrument..
its kind of become all consuming. since mid January if im not sleeping, doing my day job or eating.. i have been locked away in my studio, often until like 2-3am .. to then wake up at 8am to go to work..
my entire family has wondered what happened.
that said, i registered my business name, started building the wesbite.. and im like 93% the way done..
its a whole thing..
but soon
soooooooni can share
- exciting stuff!!! look forward to seeing the fruit of your labour! Teaser above sounds great!microkorg

- Really great for beginner, or someone needing a basic portable, good price pointprophetone
- I know the industrial design of this needs to be a universal basic thing so it’s easy to build, more likely to be bought by newbsprophetone
- But would’ve been totally awesome for them to make a mini replica version of the MPC60II case design w/ the basic, fewer knobs, buttons etcprophetone
- If they had done that, I would’ve bought one for sure lolprophetone
- yeah, it has like zero learning curve. impressively simple, i'm calling future sleeper.kingsteven
- i always loved the look of the MPC60II Mk2 with the black bar. its fun they hid a speaker in there.kingsteven
