my son is totally and utterly a daddy's boy, i cant do anything without him being my shadow, cries when i go to work, the lot.
it was at a stage where i couldn't even go to bed at night without him getting up and getting in bed with us everynight... was a nightmare, but he's gotten over that now. kids are brilliant!

i also love it when i put my boy to bed and he says the same things, "goodnight dad, love you mate, see you in the morining"
makes me smile...

My twin boys are 17 months - and the first word they said was "da da" - now they say it every other word in every sentence. Makes me proud every time I hear - since I am still such a new dad. They tell me stories, most of which is gibberish other than the word "da da". Now they have more words that occasionally get mixed in, for example - dog, thank you, giggle, etc.
