- I've driven one and found it a bit more boring than i'd like.... even as a stick shift... maybe it's the FWD
vaxorcist - The 3.5L Maximas are fun, especially with a stick. But... they cost a lot more and I've read about tranny problems.nb
- Also, I live in a climate where RWD becomes a major inconvenience every Nov thru Jan.nb

- Do not drive this like a car, it will tip over and kill your drunk, non-seatbelt-wearing ass. Possibly.mikotondria3
- that or an xterra are what i want my next one to be. especially the tx pro!jaylarson

- 64-66 T-birds are often pretty cheap on Craigslist, less collectible than 60's mustangs,etc...
vaxorcist - add in a paint job and some rims.... still around $10k sometimes....vaxorcist
- DO NOT BUY THOSE RIMSnb
- Cool and all, but not very practical.CygnusZero4

I have a similar issue I drive an old Mercedes sedan and need something to tow a dirt bike with. The motorcycle rack will weigh down my car too much and I'm not sure I can weld a trailer hitch on to the back of my car. Any medium size SUV should allow you to use the bike rack option if you don't get a Truck.

Get yourself a Mini Cooper S
Get an R53 (up till 2004) as they are Supercharged rather than Turbocharged.
Spend the rest of the cash getting it tweaked up to around 250bhp.
- 15% reduction supercharger pulley
- uprated intercooler (or uprated front-mount intercooler for more 'nom nom' value.
- 550cc Injectors
- Racing Camshaft
- JCW Airbox
- Uprated Spark Plugs
- Tune (if US, get done by Mynes)
- Racing Manifold + Exhaust System(Then you can lower it, upgrade mounts etc, nice wheels and most importantly a Big Brake Kit to help you stop on a dime! JCW Brembo kit is a goodun)
Believe me, you'll never have as much fun in a car. Sticks to the road like glue. VERY VERY safe cars, Solid. and the best part .... people majorly underestimate them. There's nothing more satisfying than sinking the foot and blowing away someone in a car worth four or five time the value of yours ;)
- with a racing head you can see up to about 280bhp but itl be another few grandmicrokorg
- True! Mine has around 208hp now. I don't think i am gonna tune it more. Stage 3 is enough.Gizz
- im at 212whp/249bhp hopefully going for some new tweaks soon :)microkorg
- drove a '04 JCW it was super fast. soooooo much fun. couldn't stop smiling.akrok
